Q-What is ShopVendre?
A-ShopVendre is an online reselling marketplace, with a vision for a sustainable future.
Q-How do I join?
A-Go to our home page and click the Join the Movement tab, create a free account and browse our collection to shop or list your items to sell. It's that easy!
Q-What payments are accepted?
A-You can pay by Stripe or use the PayPal payment option.
Q-What is your return policy?
A-Due to the nature of our business, we do not accept returns. If you purchase an item that you do not like, you can always re-list it. If the item does not arrive in the condition it was described as or was not truthful in the listing, report the seller to us and we will take action accordingly. Report to Admin@shopvendre.com
Q-Can I personalize my seller shop?
A-Absolutely. Personalize it with the options on your seller site after creating an account.
Q-How do I cancel my order?
A-Orders can only be cancelled prior to being shipped. Once the seller ships the item, they will change the status to shipped, your order cannot be cancelled after that.
Q-What do I do if I do not receive my order?
A-Once the seller has shipped an item a tracking number should be emailed to you. Make sure it is not still on its way prior to contacting us. If you still do not receive your order, email us at Admin@ShopVendre.com immediately.
Q-Does ShopVendre charge fees?
A-There is no fees to create an account and to list your items. We do collect a charge of a 20% commission fee.
Q-Why does ShopVendre charge so much in commission fees?
A-The fees goes toward our operating costs and a percentage of each transaction goes directly towards supporting other environmentally friendly organizations. So you would be giving back in 2 ways-not letting your used items go to landfill and helping others like us to keep fighting for climate change and protecting our environment.
Q-What are the shipping rates?
A-Shipping rate depends on the size of the item and where it is being shipped to within the US. Shipping is calculated when you are ready to pay at checkout. You can bundle items from the same seller and get a reduced rate.
Q-What do I need to do when I receive my order?
A-You must mark your item as received in your account. This helps us keep track of transactions that have been fulfilled.
Q-When does ShopVendre pay me for my shipped orders?
A-We will send payment, once the buyer has marked the item as received. Typically you will receive payment within 3 days of notification directly to your account.
Q-Where does ShopVendre ship?
A-Currently we only ship products within the US.
Q-Can transactions be made offline?
A-No. ShopVendre is not responsible for any transactions made outside of our website.
Q-Does ShopVendre sell my personal information?
A-No. We do not sell any personal information to third parties. Your information is only used within the website and with vendors we are contracted with like PayPal or your credit card company. Please be aware that if you are using outside sites like social media, your information can be used by those sites. We do not directly give information to any third party.
Q-How can I become a featured artist?
A-If you are an artist of any kind that fits in with our values of sustainability, please send us a link or portfolio to your work at Admin@ShopVendre.com. If selected we will notify you via email.
Q-How can I help ShopVendre give back?
A-Two Ways:
By buying and selling on our site, you are already contributing to keeping items from the landfill or ending up in our oceans. Also you can have peace of mind knowing that from each purchase, a percentage is given to other organizations working to protect our environment.
You can also make a direct donation through our Donation tab. These funds are collected and donated to an organization of our choice that supports environmental issues. From time to time we will highlight a specific organization that we might be working with to collect finds. Sign up for our newsletter to get these notifications.
Q-How can I get my charity or organization added to your list?
A-Email us at Admin@ShopVendre.com, we will check out the organization, if it matches our values we will add it to the list.
Q-How should I pack my products?
A-We encourage you to use more environmentally friendly packaging. Avoid plastics and other non biodegradable materials. Check out our seller tips page for more information. Also read our blog page for updated recommendations and news.
Q-How can I reduce my carbon footprint?
A-Shop for items that can be reused first, check out our website for amazing deals. We list hundreds of new items everyday. Keeping these items out of landfill, helps to reduce carbon and methane emissions that contribute to greenhouse gas accumulation. Overproduction of items, particularly fast fashion has led to mountains of clothing waste ending up in third world countries and eventually to our oceans. Burning these items contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. Recycling these items has not been very effective yet to make an impact as it is not being done at large enough scale. Upcycling items into new usable items at the consumer level can be very effective. We welcome handmade products to be sold on our platform. Q-Can I sell make-up and personal care products?
A-Yes. Only unopened and unused items of this nature can be sold on our platform. If there is evidence of tampering, please do not list or sell these items. All items must be in original sealed packaging. It could ban you from our platform, if caught in such questionable practices.
